A story of care
Raja was found in Sodiem with an old maggot wound, unneutered and abandoned because of his injuries. When he was first rescued, Raja was aggressive and scared, not yet comfortable around people. The size and severity of his injury made it seem beyond hope, but after a few months of daily treatment, it has almost completely closed up.
Now, Raja is one of the friendliest dogs at the shelter, excitedly jumping up whenever someone gets close. He loves playing outside, and after being malnourished while living on the road, Raja is always looking for a snack. Although he once seemed to be hostile and closed off from others, Raja’s story shows how time and care can heal even the most hurt animals.
