What's Going On?

All around India, there are stray animals (mostly dogs and cows) living on the streets, with no alternative. Estimates show that there are upwards of 30 million dogs and 5.2 million cows roaming the streets of India - and there could be so many more that we haven't counted yet. Most of the animals you see on the street have either been abandoned by owners who can't, or won't, care for them, or are born into life as a stray. On the streets, they are susceptible to illness and injury (both accidental and human-caused) and we're in a position to help them.
